Arnold makes Sly Stallone look young

His body is "like a building collapsing".  That's how Robin Quivers from the Howard Stern Show described Arnold Schwarzenegger's once towering physique.

We've heard that the body builders muscles fall down with age, but I really wasn't expecting to see Arnold like this so soon.

...I'm going to immediately stop lifting weights at the gym.

Hi there everyone ! I guess those who have been criticizing Arnold have never been to the gym and will never feel the way Arnold felt when he was muscled. He was unique, one-of-a-kind ! His physique today is due to the fact he underwent surgery of the heart. Those of you who happen to be critical and all have never had a fabulous physique and never will. It shows you are not into giving a good critical approach. You are into misrepecting the great stars around.

Yeah, I must say those comments were a little harsh. Arnie's nearly sixty, did 'roids until 1990, is pretty busy being a politician and underwent heart surgery for a bicuspid aortal valve (genetic disorder, not a result of the steroids) and he's still packing some pretty good muscle. Think of Jack Nicholson at the same age (fatty wrinkle festival). Jeez, I hope I look that good when I'm 60. Tell you one thing: he'd kick Dubya's ass.

Those comments may be harsh, but they are true. The guy looks like a melted ice cream cone. It's just a shame that we put so much value on physical appearances in this vain society -- elevating people to "star" status for superficial reasons and tearing down those who don't measure up. It shouldn't matter one way or the other, but why defend Arnold of all people? Arnold probably would have ridiculed and teased any guy with his current physique back when he was in "fentastic" shape -- now the shoe's on the other foot. Do unto others...

just wanted to clear up a few things in reference to this article, you say qoute: "...I'm going to immediately stop lifting weights at the gym." ok, lifting wieghts in the gym doesnt do this to you, stopping lifting wieghts at the gym and continuing to eat large amounts of food does this to you!

secondly this picture was taken after arnolds heart sugery, he was intructed not to lift heavy weights for a while, how many people in thier late 50's look good after heart surgey??

also this picture was also taken before T3 in which arnold got into really great shape for.

lastly "Arnold makes Sly Stallone look young"?? no im afraid massive amounts of plastic surgery and illegal body building drugs make stallone look young.

It isn't so much Arnie has lost all of his muscles from not lifting weights, just due to the surgery and other commitments his body has stored a bit more fat than he normally maintains.

hell if I could look like Arnie at 60 years old I'd be pretty stoked.

Arnie didn't get to look like how he used to in his prime overnight by any means.

Arnold Schwarzenegger with almost 60 years old continues have a good physique. I'm sure than he will be much strong when he's complete recovering of his heart surgery. He was in a very good shape when he did terminator 3: Rise of the machines in 2003. So I Belive in his complete shape recovering.

People can say what they want about arnold having fallen out of shape, but that doesnt matter much since Arnold can always rely on a life time of bodybuilding qand powerlifting knowlege to get back in to top shape faster than anyone critizising him could try and even walk 1 mile! Once youve been in top athletic shape it doesnt take much to wake up those muscles that were use to years of hard exercise he could be out of shape here but in 3 months hed look better than any average person and as good as any athlete!
